Hellooo again Bloggie, it's been a long time not posting any stories padahal aku punya sangat banyak stok cerita! :D
Long story short, as the title obviously, aku keterima jadi Graphic Design Intern di salah satu biro arsitektur di Bintaro, yaitu Studio Sae. It was all of a sudden I read a job vacancy from this bureau, as an intern. After had a short discussion with my friend, I applied this aaand I was accepted.
All I think to work as a graphic designer is, yaa nggak jauh-jauh dari graphic designing itself dong, typography, layouting, and sense of design. And after going through for one month as an intern, ternyata aku jadi sadar, prospek as a graphic designer atau biro graphic design di Indonesia sepertinya jauh... jauh lebih sulit daripada di biro arsitek. Arsitek, karya dari profesinya sendiri jelas ada hasil, tapi masih dianggap bukan suatu kebutuhan penting di Indonesia. Apa lagi graphic design...
Ini pemikiranku yang masih jadi anak magang, and i'm a freshgrad. Okelah the fact right before aku alhamdulillah udah pernah nyemplung sana sini as a freelancer, but not this one. I'm working on a corporate (even tho its not that big haha), i have a team leader, co workers, and also the principal. Masa internku selesai Januari nanti, dan sebenernya ini udah memasuki masa probation aku, bukan intern lagi (but i like to call myself as 'anak magang' hehehe).
Well... this feels a little bit hard. Work from home habit, new routinity, forced to be adaptive for my new workplace, demanded to be MORE communicative & be actively active, and so on. BUT i'm the way SUPER happy because... i can say, i finally got a job! After thru umm... about 6 months, maybe. I'm highly expecting this was the best.. best best scenario from Allah for my career journey, insyaAllah!
Ya udah i think that's all for my story about being an intern. Nggak detail-detail banget sih ya tentang internnya, malah curhatannya aja hahaha. Mungkin nanti pas udah agak longgar aku cerita lagi tentang seru-nggak nya jadi graphic designer hijrahan! hehehe. see ya!
